Jay was awarded a Monetary Authority of Singapore scholarship and graduated with Master of Finance from University of Cambridge and is currently serving his MAS scholarship as Managing Director of Hashstacs, a Singapore-based blockchain development company focusing on the digital transformation of the finance industry. Hashstacs’ vision is to be the underlying Distributed Ledger Technology on which Financial Market Infrastructure is built upon. The flagship product, Securities Trading Asset Clearing and Settlement (STACS) Network is a blockchain built specifically for Finance. Previously Jay led the investment team responsible for managing URA’s (Singapore government agency) proprietary funds of approximately SGD 1 billion. He was a trader for Moon Capital, a New York long-short market neutral hedge fund and a trader for Deutsche Asset Management. He was co-founder of a start-up developing trading software for retail traders globally through partnership with leading forex brokers. He was also Co-Chairman of Chartered Market Technician Association Singapore Chapter.
Ben is also Executive Director of the Gibraltar Stock Exchange Group (GSX Group). He is a serial FinTech entrepreneur and previously founded a multinational, regulated Fintech firm with more than 500 employees in 6 countries, serving more than 80 financial services firms worldwide, with a focus on Fintech, Blockchain and Information Security sectors.

In November 2014 the GSX received its full licence before opening as Gibraltar’s first Stock Exchange. With the goal of creating a world leading Digital Asset Exchange and setting the gold standard in institutional-grade token sales, Nick and the GSX team launched the Gibraltar Blockchain Exchange (GBX), which is the first fully insured and licensed exchange to be owned by a stock exchange. As CEO of the GSX Group, Nick’s vision and guidance has positioned the exchange as a showcase platform, and a leading Blockchain and digital asset hub.
Ken was Senior Software Development Engineer at Google, and Senior Manager in Microsoft-Nokia, where he was deployed extensively in Europe and managed a team of more than 500 engineers, and also served senior technology roles in other top tier institutions like Motorola. A graduate from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Computer Science major, Ken has been focused on the blockchain field since 2015, and has led a team of more than 50 engineers in the development and deployment of various enterprise blockchain projects in the fields of Finance, Supply chain and logistics, Data Registry and Accreditation.
Andrew has 25 years’ experience in the futures industry and advising exchanges, brokerages and fintech companies. Recent advisory included a leading multi-asset brokerage and prime services provider as they enhanced their Greater China client offering. In addition, Andrew advised the Shanghai International Energy Exchange on their now launched RMB denominated crude oil future. This is a One Belt, One Road initiative. Andrew's experiences are grounded in various management, sales and technology roles at UBS over a 20-year period in Singapore and Sydney, including that of CEO UBS Futures Singapore.
Jaroungpon has more than 30 years of experience in the Thai Capital Market working with both regulators and participants including SEC, SET, stockbrokers, commercial banks and funds. During her public stint, she was the manager of the Association of Securities Companies (ASCO) and was the Founder and President of the Thai Bond Market Association (Thai BMA). For the past 17 years, she worked in the private sector and was Director and Head of Securities Services (Custody Services) at Bangkok Bank, and served as director of Deutsche Bank. During her 11.5 years with Deutsche Bank, she spearheaded the company to offer public funds and private funds, and custody services solutions for their cross-border investments in global markets. During the same period, she was elected by the Thai custodian banks as Chairman of the Custodian Club, Thailand. She also worked closely with SEC, SET and stockbrokers to introduce transferable depository receipts (TDR) in the Thai market.
Jin was formerly a software engineer from Oracle where he designed and built the full stack of the Analytics data warehouse for one of the Oracle Cloud Products that provided actionable Business Intelligence. He was also a solutions engineer from Transperfect, a global leader in translation solutions, where he led and delivered on-time customized tech integrations with clients’ Enterprise cloud systems across the APAC region. He also co-founded an AI mobile app startup where he contributed to the proprietary algorithms and built the final product. He was awarded an IMDA National Infocomm (SG:Digital) Overseas Scholarship and graduated with a Masters of Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Joanne has 35 years’ experience in various financial sectors: asset management, brokerage, direct investment and investment banking services. Joanne has held senior operation roles with KGI Securities (Sin)/Aviva Investors/HSBC Global Asset Mgt (Sin)/Philip Capital Mgt (Compliance)/GIC (Private Investments).
Kian has experience as the Product Manager for Blockchain development in Broctagon Fintech Group and was instrumental in helping the company achieve 3 ISO certifications in information security, and had also led a team to perform all-round security testing for various web and Blockchain applications, including to trace and investigate malicious Blockchain transactions. Previously from Deloitte risk advisory, where he performed network security tests for financial institutions and government systems which include payment and settlement processing systems.
Leonard has in-depth experience in the technological production chain, analysing and improving requirements from stakeholders to implementation of the developed product. For the past four years, he has been tasked to cultivate the fintech industry with innovative methods, and has led the development of Fintech products that have been deployed successfully in more than 30 financial services firms, and has deep experience in working with various cloud services, having extensive knowledge of cloud computing and being part of an AWS Partner Institution. Leonard is a Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) computer science graduate, well-versed in the fintech industry.
Gao Wen has experience as the Product Manager of Gibraltar Blockchain Exchange's Digital Asset Exchange platform. Participated in the process from idealisation to realisation of the whole product. 5 years’ experience of project/product management in technology vertical that covers a wide spectrum of industries.
Nigel has experience as the Product Senior Manager at Gibraltar Stock Exchange Group for the APAC region, tasked to establish an innovative infrastructure for the company’s fintech ecosystem vision. Previously at GFI Group, on the FX options trading desk handling inter-bank liquidity and price discovery for the G10 currencies.
CJ has experience as the Partnerships Senior Manager at Gibraltar Stock Exchange Group for the APAC Region. He is in charge of institutional partnerships for APAC regions and meeting key deliverables with financial institution clients together. Formerly at True Global Ventures, a 1-Billion USD decentralised fund covering 30 cities and focused on Blockchain equity investments.
Isabelle is the Marketing and Branding Manager in Gibraltar Stock Exchange Group. She is IBF-Qualified, Honour Roll International Compliance Association (ICA) Member, and wrote a paper for the ICA on the rising industry trends of Blockchain implications. Formerly an Investor Relations in a Private Equity and Hedge Fund Administrator, and working in BNP Paribas Wealth Management, she provided business requirements with successful results of 200+ hours in cost-savings.
Jace Er is an experienced Business Analyst serving both the private and public sector, notable names include Broctagon Fintech Group, Atos Information Technology, Pactera Singapore, A*Star and UOB. She has spent the last 4 years building client solutions specific to these areas, blockchain, web-applications, payments, and business strategy.
